Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in product management, data analytics, or digital platform delivery.
• Deep knowledge of SAP supply chain and manufacturing processes; translate operational needs into data solutions.
• Experience with data migration principles—source-to-target mapping, data quality, reconciliation, and S/4HANA transition (ECC > S/4HANA).
• Familiarity with SAP master and transactional data structures and dataflow into the enterprise data platform for analytics.
• Proven track record of managing product backlogs, prioritizing requirements, and collaborating in agile environments.
• Experience with source control and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Experience working with global teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to drive a project and work independently or in a team.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure; Databricks is a plus.

As a Data Product Manager for Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS), you will be accountable for delivering advanced data capabilities that directly support the digital transformation of Zoetis’s manufacturing and supply chain operations. Leveraging the integrated Digital and Data Platform (DDP), you will drive innovative digital and data analytics initiatives within GMS, enabling smarter decision-making, operational efficiency, and enhanced value for our customers. This role offers broad exposure to every facet of GMS at Zoetis and involves frequent collaboration with global stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take full ownership of the GMS product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• 20% Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to refine and plan data features and requirements.
• 20% Engage with stakeholders to gather and synthesize high-level requirements and feedback.
• 15% Oversee delivery and adoption of GMS data analytics solutions.
• 15% Ensure alignment of GMS data products with business objectives and compliance.
• 10% Make decisions on feature prioritization and resource allocation.
• 10% Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

8+ years' experience in product management, data analytics, or digital platform delivery (preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, or life sciences).

Deep knowledge of SAP supply chain and manufacturing processes, with the ability to translate operational needs into data solutions.

Understanding of data migration principles-source-to-target mapping, data quality, reconciliation, and ensuring continuity of data products through the S/4 transition (ECC > S/4HANA).

Familiarity with SAP master and transactional data structures and how they flow into the enterprise data platform to support integrated, cross-functional analytics.

Proven track record of managing product backlogs, prioritizing requirements, and collaborating in agile environments.

Experience with source control and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps) required.

Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Regular working hours are from 11 AM to 8:00 PM IST.
• Sometimes, more overlap with the EST Time zone is required during production go-live.
