Job summary

Albemarle in Bengaluru seeks a Data Product Manager to define the product strategy for enterprise reporting, data governance, data quality, and analytics across functions. You will translate business needs into roadmaps and ensure execution with engineering and platform teams.

Lead requirements, prioritize initiatives, measure outcomes, and drive analytics modernization, including cloud adoption. Strong collaboration and communication with multiple stakeholders are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Data & Analytics, BI, data governance or PM.
• Experience partnering with technical teams on enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Strong understanding of reporting, analytics, MDM, and data governance concepts.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across business and IT.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives with operational excellence.
• Experience managing large-scale transformation or modernization programs.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for enterprise reporting, data governance, data quality, and analytics platforms.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into well-defined product features, user stories, and delivery plans.
• Manage product backlogs and priorities, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and operational needs.
• Drive enterprise reporting capabilities across different data sources and Enterprise Systems.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to ensure successful execution and timely delivery.
• Help delivery teams remove technical and organizational roadblocks by facilitating decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
• Define and track success metrics, adoption measures, and business value realization for data and analytics products.
• Lead analytics modernization programs, including reporting transformation, cloud-native analytics adoption.
• Establish governance frameworks, reporting standards, stewardship processes, and product operating models.
• Communicate roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to business and technology leadership.

The Data Product Manager will be responsible for defining and managing the product strategy, roadmap, and business priorities for enterprise reporting, data governance, data quality, and analytics capabilities that support functions across organization. This role serves as the primary translating business needs into product roadmaps and ensuring successful execution through engineering and platform teams. The Data Product Manager will gather and refine business requirements, prioritize initiatives, align stakeholders, define outcomes, and ensure teams have the clarity and support needed to execute successfully.

• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives while maintaining operational excellence.
• Experience managing large-scale transformation or modernization programs.
