Job summary

Human Loops in Nagpur is seeking a Processing Associate to handle data from card to cloud, naming, verifying, and backing up across three shifts.

Ingest and upload video and image data, organize files by Location/Task/Employee Code, and maintain two-copy rule with no deletions until verified copies exist.

Office-based role with training, clear promotion paths, and exposure to AI and robotics projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering Degree.
• 1–5 years in Data Processing, Data Entry, Operations, Back Office, IT Support, or BPO roles.
• Must follow strict data handling SOPs and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for all data entering the office during your shift, from handover to confirmed upload.
• Ingest and upload video and image data from SD cards and devices to company storage systems using approved ingest stations and upload workflows.
• Name and organise every file and folder to the company naming convention (Location Number / Task Type / Employee Code) without deviation.
• Verify upload completion and file integrity; identify and report missing, truncated, or corrupted files immediately.
• Tally recorded hours against the field team's reported hours and flag any mismatch the same shift.
• Maintain the two-copy rule at all times — no footage is deleted anywhere until two verified copies exist, and deletion authority rests only with designated verifiers.
• Monitor storage across processing machines and cloud buckets; clear space proactively so ingest is never blocked mid-shift.
• Release cleared SD cards to the Logistics team for formatting only after upload is confirmed.
• Produce a written shift handover brief for the incoming team: total data received, what was uploaded, what remains pending, and which machines or cards are still occupied.
• Maintain upload logs, Excel and Google Sheets trackers, and project documentation to a daily close.
• Prepare and publish thumbnails and supporting records to Notion in coordination with the Field Team Lead.
• Handle renaming, re-checking, moving, tallying, and drive management tasks on project backlogs and side projects as assigned.
• Hand off processed batches to the Quality Control team and support re-checks on disputed footage.
• Follow company data security and confidentiality policies at all times.
• Escalate technical failures, storage bottlenecks, or transfer errors to the Team Lead rather than working around them.

Unlike traditional outsourcing firms, all our operations from recruitment and training to quality assurance and delivery are managed in-house, enabling us to maintain high quality standards and efficient project execution.

Role Overview

The Processing Associate takes custody of data the moment it comes off a card and is accountable for it until it is uploaded, correctly named, verified, and backed up. We move terabytes of video every day across multiple concurrent projects and three shifts, and there is no second chance on collected footage if a file is lost between the card and the cloud, a paid collection day is simply gone.

This role runs on discipline rather than improvisation. Naming conventions, verification steps, and the two-copy rule exist because the alternative is unrecoverable loss, and they are followed exactly, on every shift, including at 3 AM.

Eligibility

Education: Graduate in Engineering Degree.

• Solid computer proficiency; comfortable with file systems, large transfers, and basic troubleshooting

• Attention to detail sustained across a full shift, including night shifts

Working Schedule

• 5 Working Days per Week
• 9 Hours per Day (8.5 Working Hours + 30 Minutes Break)
• Three shift timings — Morning (approx. 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Evening (approx. 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM) Night (approx. 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
