Job summary

DAZN in Hyderabad is seeking a senior data engineer to design and optimize data platforms that power live and on‑demand sports streaming for fans worldwide.

You will build scalable data architectures and Airflow pipelines in AWS, drive reliability through monitoring, and collaborate with a talented team to shape the next era of data-driven streaming.

You will mentor juniors and help establish best practices across data engineering in a fast‑paced, hybrid tech hub.

Responsibilities

• 8+ years of experience building data architectures and data pipelines with Python and Airflow.
• Hands-on AWS expertise across EKS, Glue, Firehose, S3, Batch, Lambda, ECS, RDS, and DynamoDB for batch and near real-time processing.
• Proficiency provisioning AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Strong monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting of data platforms.
• Deep understanding of Data Architecture with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating custom Airflow DAGs and Operators.
• Experience setting up and scaling Airflow on EKS.

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting of data platforms.
• Excellent understanding of Data Architecture, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Building custom Airflow DAGs, Operators.
• Experience in setting up and managing Airflow on EKS on scale.
