Job summary

LTM is seeking an experienced Data Modeler to lead enterprise-scale data modeling initiatives on Teradata with OLAP focus. The role requires collaboration with business, analytics, and ETL teams to deliver high-performance analytical solutions.

Responsibilities include conceptual/logical/physical modelling, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake), and strong SQL on Teradata, along with performance tuning, governance, and mentorship of junior modelers. Onsite delivery experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Teradata data modeling in large enterprise environments.
• OLAP data modeling, dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficient in Star and Snowflake schemas and SCDs; strong SQL on Teradata.
• Experience with BI tools and reporting layers; performance tuning.
• Experience with Erwin or ER Studio or equivalent data modeling tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience in onsite or governed delivery environments; leadership exposure.

Data Modeler (Teradata + OLAP)

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler (Teradata + OLAP) to lead enterprise-scale data modeling initiatives. The role demands strong expertise in OLAP data modeling, Teradata data warehouse design, and close collaboration with business, analytics, and ETL teams to deliver high-performance analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling for OLAP and enterprise data warehouse solutions on Teradata.

Design and optimize dimensional models (Star / Snowflake schemas) for large-scale analytical and reporting use cases.

Translate complex business requirements into scalable and highperforming data models. Work closely with ETL developers, BI/reporting teams, and data architects to ensure end-to-end data consistency.

Drive performance tuning, including indexing strategies, partitioning, and query optimization. Ensure adherence to data standards, governance, naming conventions, and documentation (data dictionaries, metadata).

Perform data model reviews and provide technical guidance/mentorship to junior modelers.

Support stakeholder discussions and participate in technical design reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in Teradata data modeling with hands-on experience in large enterprise environments.

Proven experience in OLAP data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

Deep understanding of Star / Snowflake schemas, facts, dimensions, SCDs. Excellent SQL proficiency on Teradata.

Experience working closely with BI tools and reporting layers. Familiarity with performance tuning techniques in analytical databases.

Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin / ER Studio / equivalent.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Good to Have Exposure to Data Warehousing / Analytics / Enterprise Reporting projects.

Experience in onsite or tightly governed delivery environments.

Prior experience leading small teams or acting as module/technical lead.
