Job summary

JobCrexa is seeking a Senior Data Loss Prevention (DLP) expert to lead our security program and protect sensitive information across environments. You will collaborate with IT and legal teams to drive data protection and incident response.

The role requires extensive experience in DLP, DSPM, encryption, and governance, with awareness of GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST standards, including architecture reviews and vendor risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a comprehensive DLP program including data discovery, classification and protection policies.
• Work with DSPM tools and integrate in hybrid environments to protect sensitive data.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST across geographies.
• Oversee DLP, DSPM, and disk encryption tools and automation.
• Collaborate with legal teams to review contracts and MSAs for DLP compliance.
• Participate in ARB reviews to ensure DLP/DAM/DSPM considerations are integrated.
• Manage data breach and DLP incident response and remediation.
• Stay updated on the latest DLP trends, threats and technologies.

Job description

As a Senior Data Loss Prevention (DLP) , you will work as a part of our Cyber Security team, and you will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that sensitive data is protected from unauthorized access misuse, and breaches.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• 10–12 years of experience in data loss prevention, data discovery/classification, and database/data security.
• Experience with DSPM tools and integration in hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Experience with DLP, DSPM, disk encryption tools and automation.
• Manage a comprehensive DLP program, including data discovery, classification, and protection policies.
• Conduct DLP and DSPM assessments to identify, mitigate, and report data protection risks.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations across multiple geographies.
• Collaborate with legal teams to review contracts and MSAs for DLP compliance.
• Oversee deployment and tuning of disk encryption technologies (e.g., BitLocker).
• Understanding of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and evaluate vendor risks from a DLP perspective.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) reviews to ensure DLP/DAM/DSPM considerations are integrated.
• Manage and respond to data breaches and DLP incidents.
• Stay up to date with the latest DLP trends, threats, and technologies
