What we do

We simplify, streamline, and automate controls—strengthening our ability to prevent issues. The Control Testing Automation Team automates manual testing through data driven capabilities using industry standard tools and techniques in collaboration with Business, Internal Audit, Internal Citi Risk and Control and Technology. Through automation we identify control, testing gaps and provide the evidence to Business/Risk teams to mitigate any type of risk like Regulatory/AML/KYC/Sanctions/Anti Bribery/Sales Practice/Reputational/Fraud and Theft.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of analyst to gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to drive actionable insights.
Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support business objectives and drive decision-making processes.
Conduct in-depth analysis of complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights to support business planning and resource allocation.
Stay current to industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics to constantly improve process and methodologies.

Expertise

Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and data patterns; capable of formulating analytical methodology and identifying inconsistencies, anomalies, and patterns; transforming data sets and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis; providing actionable business insights.
Tools and Platforms: Hands-on experience in SAS, SQL, Python; strong RDBMS concepts; proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA.
Nice to have: Experience with workflow management tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket (Version Control).

Domain Skills

Banking Products (Wealth, Cards, Deposit, Loans & Insurance, etc.).

Functional Skills

Business risk, controls, compliance, and data management.
Nice to have: Knowledge of Finance Regulations, Understanding of Audit Process.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in information technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications / Engineering from a premier institute. (Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications.)
(Preferred) Postgraduate in – Masters in computers.
8-12 years of hands-on experience in developing codes on SAS, SQL, Python environments.
