SIS – CMTA Production Analyst (C10)

Global Decision Management is a global community that is driving data driven transformation across Citi in multiple functions with the objective to create actionable intelligence for our business leaders. We are a fast growing organization working with Citi businesses and functions across the world.

What do we offer: Digital Monitoring team supports CMTA (Control Monitoring Testing Automation) to prepare North America consumer business for audit, by identifying cases on control gaps, policy breaches and providing data evidence for audit completion.

The critical areas we support:

• Production Support: Time delivery for all AIM-managed production runs as defined as per SLA.
• Internal Audit: Banking products’ & Services are in compliant with Controls & policies; any violations need to be identified and reported to Business.
• Sales Practice: Any performance management and incentive programs for potential Unfair & Deceptive practices by RMs, need to be identified and reported to Business.
• AML: Any instances of AML incidents or Transactions need to be identified and reported to Business.

Expertise Required

Analytical Skills

• Data analysis & Data Quality
• Proficient in formulating analytical methodology, identifying inconsistencies, anomalies & patterns with data
• Generate actionable Business Insights
• Coming up with automated techniques to remove false positives

Tools and Platforms

• Proficient/Intermediate in Python, Pyspark
• Proficient in SAS, SQL
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and VBA

Preferred

• LSF/Autosys Scheduling Or Windows Scheduling
• UNIX Shell Scripting, JIL (Job Information Language) (Preferred)
• Proficiency In Mainframe SAS Experience (Preferred)
• Experience in one of the following technology areas:
  • Big Data/Hadoop, HIVE and exposure to Python
  • SAS on Mainframe, exposure to JCL, IBM Utilities

Domain Skills

Good understanding of Banking domain (Cards, Deposit, Loans, Wealth management, & Insurance etc.). Knowledge of Finance Regulations and Understanding of Audit Process (Preferred).

• Ability to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to senior management or partners in a structured and simple form
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Good process/project management skills
• Mentoring junior members in the team
• Ability to work well across multiple functional areas
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Contribute to organizational initiatives in wide ranging areas including competency development, training, organizational building activities
• Proactive approach in solving problems and eye for details

Educational and Experience

• MBA / Master Degree in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Engineering from a premier institute. BTech / B.E in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications
• (Preferred) Post Graduate in – Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Management Science and related fields
• 2+ years of hands on experience in delivering data quality solutions
