Citi is seeking a Data/Information Management Manager in India to provide full leadership and supervision across data activities, ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficient budgeting. The role emphasizes analytics, data science, and solution implementation with a strong focus on risk awareness and governance.

The candidate will guide teams, analyze complex problems, and develop knowledge-driven approaches while maintaining high standards of integrity and regulatory compliance.

• 8+ years of experience in data/information management or a related field.
• Knowledge of analytics, data science, and solution implementation.
• Experience developing and implementing analytical strategies.
• Understanding of various business models and statistical techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Lead data activities including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or design engineering.
• Follow established guidelines and resolve problems.
• Refer complex problems to supervisors or other experts as needed.
• Contribute to workflow/process redesign and a basic understanding of the product or process.
• Accountable for regular reporting or process administration as owner.
• May direct day-to-day work of junior level employees, but not a formal management role.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules, and Citi policies, and maintain ethical standards.

The Data/Information Mgt Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• This function covers incumbents responsible for various data activities, which include database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or database architecture / design engineering
• Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems
• Use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to supervisors or other experts
• Contribute to work flow or process change and redesign, and to form a basic understanding of the specific product or process
• Accountable for regular reporting or process administration as owner
• May direct day-to-day work of junior level employees, but will not typically have formal management role
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
