Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a Data Governance specialist in India to lead governance for critical data elements in a banking domain. The role requires 3+ years of experience, in-office with UK shift timings, across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and other Indian locations.

The candidate will gather requirements, catalogue data, assure quality, and drive data integration using IDQ and AXON, with AWS exposure and SQL proficiency.

Qualifications

• End to end Data Governance: requirement gathering, cataloguing, quality, and integration.
• SQL is mandatory for governance and data handling.
• Domain: Banking and regulatory awareness.
• AWS Cloud experience is required.
• Informatica IDQ and AXON experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead data governance for Critical Data Elements (CDE).
• Perform end-to-end data quality checks and data cataloguing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the banking domain to ensure data integrity.
• Oversee data integration across systems and platforms.
