Job summary

Everforth Quinnox is seeking a Data Governance professional with 4–6 years of experience for a hybrid role in Bengaluru. The role covers data quality, access controls, metadata management and governance operations across data products and datasets.

You will collaborate with Data Owners, Stewards, and analytics teams to ensure compliance, maintain governance KPIs, and drive remediation actions.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management, Business Analysis or Analytics.
• Good understanding of Data Quality, Metadata, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, Data Ownership and Access Controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills with ability to drive actions to completion.
• Comfortable working across both business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Data Quality measures, Trust Scores and governance exceptions across critical datasets and Data Products.
• Investigate data quality issues, understand impact and work with accountable teams to identify remediation actions.
• Track issues through to resolution and provide visibility of risks, recurring problems and overdue actions.
• Support data access reviews, certification and periodic recertification activities.
• Track access exceptions and control gaps and maintain governance evidence.
• Support certification of datasets and Data Products against quality, ownership and governance standards.
• Maintain the Data Catalogue, Business Glossary, data ownership and stewardship information.
• Support Data Owners and Stewards in defining business definitions and metadata.
• Support implementation of Data Governance policies, standards and controls across data domains.
• Use data and analytics to investigate governance and Data Quality issues when appropriate.
• Maintain governance KPIs, action trackers and management reporting.
• Coordinate governance forums and follow up with Data Owners, Stewards and delivery teams to ensure actions are completed.
• Identify trends and recurring governance issues and elevate material risks to the Data Governance Lead.
• Work with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Analytics Engineering and domain Analytics teams.
• Help teams understand and implement governance requirements within Data Products and processes.
• Support the Data Governance Lead and Director of Data Governance in enterprise initiatives.

1. Data Quality & Trust

• Monitor Data Quality measures, Trust Scores and governance exceptions across critical datasets and Data Products.
• Investigate data quality issues, understand their impact and work with accountable teams to identify remediation actions.

2. Access, Controls & Certification

• Support data access reviews, certification and periodic recertification activities.

• Support certification of datasets and Data Products against agreed quality, ownership and governance standards.

3. Metadata, Glossary & Standards

• Maintain the Data Catalogue, Business Glossary, data ownership and stewardship information.
• Support Data Owners and Stewards in establishing clear business definitions and maintaining metadata.
• Support implementation of Data Governance policies, standards and controls across data domains.

4. Governance Analysis & Operations

• Use data and analytics where appropriate to investigate governance and Data Quality issues.
• Maintain governance KPIs, action trackers and management reporting.
• Coordinate governance forums and follow up with Data Owners, Stewards and delivery teams to ensure agreed actions are completed.
• Identify trends and recurring governance issues and elevate material risks to the Data Governance Lead.

5. Stakeholder Support

• Work closely with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Analytics Engineering and domain Analytics teams.
• Help teams understand and implement governance requirements within their Data Products and processes.
• Support the Data Governance Lead and Director of Data Governance in delivering enterprise governance initiatives.

Skills & Experience

Must Have

• 46 years' experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management, Business Analysis or Analytics.
• Good understanding of Data Quality, Metadata, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, Data Ownership and Access Controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to drive actions through to completion.
• Comfortable working across both business and technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of SQL and BI/analytics tools.
• Experience with Data Catalogue, Data Quality or Data Governance platforms.
• Exposure to Master Data Management, Data Product certification or data controls.
