Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru seeks a Data Governance professional to deploy enterprise data governance and catalog engagements, collaborating with delivery leaders on-site or remotely.

You will design governance operating models, define CDEs and data dictionaries, and drive compliance initiatives with hands-on experience in Collibra, Informatica CDGC, Purview, or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ end-to-end governance implementations.
• Hands-on expertise in at least one platform Collibra, Informatica CDGC, Purview, Ataccama, Alation, or Atlan.
• Awareness of data governance standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deploy across enterprise Data Governance Data Catalog engagements with minimal reskilling.

• Drive governance program design, catalog implementations, and regulatory compliance initiatives while contributing to presales, PoCs, and thought leadership.
• Design enterprise Data Governance operating models: policies, stewardship roles, data ownership frameworks, and governance council structures aligned to DAMA-DMBOK / DCAM.
• Define critical data elements (CDEs), data dictionaries, business glossaries, and operationalize governance workflows for issue management, policy exceptions, and stewardship escalations.

• Collibra Certifications: Collibra Ranger (Data Governance), Collibra Data Steward, Collibra Data Citizen, Collibra Platform Architect, Collibra Workflow Engineer, Collibra Data Quality Analyst.
• Other Platform Certifications: Informatica CDGC Specialist, Microsoft SC-400 (Information Protection) / DP-900, or AWS Data Analytics Specialty.
• Regulatory exposure: BCBS 239 RDARR principles, GDPR/CCPA PII classification DPIA workflows, SOX financial lineage control cataloguing; awareness of DORA, or HIPAA advantageous.
• Data mesh governance, data product ownership models, and data observability integration (Monte Carlo, Soda) with catalog health scores.
• Data contract standards (OpenDataContract) for producer-consumer governance enforcement.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• 2+ end-to-end governance implementations; deep hands‑on expertise in at least one platform Collibra, Informatica CDGC, Purview, Ataccama, Alation, or Atlan with working knowledge of others.
• Collibra Advanced: BPMN workflow development, REST/GraphQL API integrations, custom asset models, Edge connectors, DQ Protect module configuration.
• Awareness of Informatica CDGC (business glossary, policy mgmt), Purview (sensitivity labels, compliance portal), Atlan (active metadata, dbt integration), and Alation (stewardship workbench).
