Job summary

JiBe is seeking a detail-oriented data entry professional to support the shipping ERP workflow. You will screen manuals, extract spares and PMS data, and enter it into JiBe templates or internal tools with accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities include organizing source data, identifying and correcting errors, and performing data quality checks. You will also help prepare training materials and ad hoc data-entry tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 2 years working experience (Marine/shipping knowledge advantageous).
• Must have good typing speed around 40 words per minute.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of data entry tools and office systems software (Excel, Access, Word).
• Excel working experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Initial screening of manuals for spare and PMS related data.
• Reading manuals and extracting Spares data and PMS data into JiBe Template or internal software.
• Data entry of Spares and PMS data, accurately and timely.
• Prepare source data for entry by organizing mail and drives and logging data receipts.
• Diagnose and correct data entry errors.
• Perform quality checks for extracted data (QC from Excel to PDF).
• Prepare reports and feedback sheets for data quality corrections.
• Assist in data entry related tasks and ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Initial screening of manuals for spare and PMS related data.
• Reading makers manuals and Extraction of Spares data and PMS Data in JiBe Template or in an internal software built for spare extraction. (Data entry from PDF to EXCEL)/Data entry in User Interface.
• Entering Spares Data and PMS Data, efficiently, timely and accurate manner.
• Prepares source data for entry by opening and sorting mail/Shared drives; verifying and logging receipt of data; obtaining missing data.
• Determines the cause of error message while entering data and makes appropriate corrections
• Perform Quality checks for extracted data with available manuals. (QC from EXCEL to PDF)
• Prepare report and feedback sheets for data quality check corrections.
• Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Help in preparing files and video tutorials and other Data Entry related work.
• Ad-hoc duties as given by Development Manager

Qualifications and Skills
