• Punch vendor bills and invoices into the accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, SAP, or ERP).
• Match Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and vendor invoices (3-Way Matching) before processing.
• Enter daily sales invoices, dispatch receipts, and customer payments into the system.
• Verify tax details (GST / HSN codes) on outward invoices against actual dispatches.
• Record daily petty cash expenses and bank receipts/payments.
• Assist in updating bank statements and basic monthly bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with warehouse/store managers to log raw material inward registers and finished goods outward entries.
• Maintain structured digital and physical archives of bills, challans, and vouchers for internal/external audits.
• Extract monthly transaction summary reports to assist senior accountants in GST/tax filings.
