Hired is seeking a Data Engineering Senior Specialist for a fully remote role. You will mentor junior members, build and automate BI dashboards, and analyze data from diverse sources to drive key process improvements. You will establish KPIs and work across departments in a distributed team.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL, relational database expertise, and hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, plus Python or R for data analysis.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing mentorship, guidance, and training to junior team members.
• Develop, automate, and maintain interactive business intelligence dashboards.
• Extract, aggregate, clean, and analyze data from multiple disparate sources.
• Analyze existing workflows to design, propose, and implement major process improvements.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High-level proficiency with remote collaboration platforms (Slack, Zoom, Teams).
• Proven comfort and productivity operating in a fully remote, distributed environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data manipulation.
• Extensive experience with BI and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Strong statistical knowledge and experience with Python or R for data analysis.
