Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in Power BI to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and visualisation solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making processes.

Location: Remote (India)

Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
Data Modelling: Create and optimise data models to support efficient querying and reporting, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Power BI Development: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, translating complex data into clear visualisations for stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Performance Optimisation: Optimise ETL processes and Power BI reports for performance, ensuring data availability and responsiveness.
Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources, including relational databases, APIs, and unstructured data, to provide a unified view for analysis.
Documentation & Training: Create documentation for data models, processes, and reports. Conduct training sessions to empower users to leverage Power BI effectively.

Required Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence development.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data warehousing solutions and big data technologies.
Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate.
