Job summary

Nordex India is seeking a senior data engineer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines for wind measurement and master data from diverse sources. The role focuses on transforming, processing, and ingesting data to drive analytical insights and governance across data platforms.

You will design data models, ensure data quality, and troubleshoot pipeline issues while collaborating with stakeholders. Experience in CI/CD and Azure DevOps, plus renewable energy familiarity, is advantageous.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8–10+ years experience as a data engineer or in a similar data-intensive role.
• Proficient knowledge in ETL, Data Lake, and data warehousing.
• Proficient knowledge of SQL and relational databases (preferably SQL Server).
• Good programming skills in languages such as R, Python, Scala; Databricks (spark, delta tables, unity catalog).
• Knowledge in data governance and security; architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows (Azure DevOps and Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Wind industry or renewable energy experience is a plus.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

YOUR TASKS:

YOUR PROFILE:

• University degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field

• Knowledge in data governance, security, architecture
• Experience with CI/CD workflows preferably azure devOPS and git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Wind industry or Renewable is added advantage
• Good stakeholder management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
