Burns & McDonnell India is seeking a data integration and engineering professional to manage secure data connections, build scalable data pipelines, and model core ontology objects in Palantir Foundry.
You will develop end-to-end solutions, translate business requirements into technical workflows, and provide ongoing training and support to users while ensuring data privacy and cybersecurity standards are maintained.
Configure and manage secure, scalable, and resilient data connections. Set up flexible ingress topologies to bring in multi-modal data streams (structured, unstructured, streaming, IoT, etc.).
Design, implement, and maintain robust, automated data pipelines using Pipeline Builder and code repositories
Create, configure, and manage core Ontology objects inside Palantir Foundry to model real-world concepts.
Develop end-to-end solutions, custom workflows, and user-facing applications using Palantir Workshop or Slate.
Work directly on business requirements, dissecting problem statements and translating them into technical solutions within the platform.
Provide ongoing training and technical support to end-users to maximize their effective utilization of Palantir Foundry.
Ensure all pipeline operations comply with data privacy, governance, and strict cybersecurity regulatory requirements. Maintain full data provenance using the Job Spec paradigm.
B.E./ B. Tech./BE IT or any graduate
No-Code/Low-Code Transformation: Proficiency in Preparation and Contour.
Pipeline Orchestration: Designing/managing pipelines with Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories.
Application Generation: Building custom applications utilizing Workshop or Slate.
Analysis Tools: Hands-on analytical experience using Code Workbook, Contour, and Quiver.
Working knowledge of Python, PySpark
Knowledge of TypeScript.
Familiarity with AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) Natural Language.
Experience integrating ML and AI capabilities within the Palantir environment for advanced analytics.
Proficiency in data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data governance.
Solid understanding of relational databases (such as Oracle and SQL Server).
Knowledge of API integration to flow data between Palantir and external applications/systems.
Handling multi-modal data types (structured, unstructured, streaming, IoT, and geospatial).
Knowledge of flexible ingress topologies (agent-based, REST, JDBC, etc.) and leveraging standard data connectors.
"Data-as-code" practices (versioning, branching, and change management).
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data privacy, and security standards when handling sensitive information.
Hybrid Business/Technical Aptitude: Ability to cross over between traditional Data Engineering and Business Analysis tasks.Problem-Solving: Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and troubleshooting/debugging skills with high attention to detail.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with local teams and US office stakeholders.Collaboration: Highly collaborative mindset, capable of working seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team (Developers, QA, Support, DevOps).Continuous Learning: Self-driven learning capability and an interest in learning and developing new IT skills as technology evolves.
