Job summary

MathCo in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a senior Data Engineer with hands-on Palantir Foundry experience. The role focuses on building scalable data foundations, data pipelines, and enterprise applications using Foundry components.

Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills are essential, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in data engineering, a CS/engineering degree, and exposure to SDLC, CI/CD, and release management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Enterprise data platform development, including at least 1–2 years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience.
• Working experience with core Foundry components.
• Pipeline Builder and/or Code Repositories using Python/PySpark
• Ontology Manager fundamentals (Object Types, Link Types, Action Types)
• Workshop for building enterprise applications
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with experience designing scalable data pipelines and data models.
• Working knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, version control, testing, and release management best practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data foundations and operational applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with OSDK for custom applications and external system integrations.
• Understanding of Foundry release management at scale — branching strategies, Marketplace promotions, multi-environment (Dev/UAT/Prod) workflows.
• Exposure to Foundry administration (Spaces, CBAC/Markings, project/access governance).
• Exposure to Palantir MCP / Ontology MCP.
• Experience in ontology design, semantic modeling, and governance for shared enterprise ontologies.
• Prior experience working directly with enterprise clients and cross-functional business teams.
