Job summary

UST is seeking a Lead II Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions using Microsoft BI technologies and Power BI. The role focuses on data analysis, SQL development, reporting, and translating business needs into robust technical solutions.

The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, ensure data quality and governance, and continuously adopt new technologies to deliver business value through dashboards and analytics.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI development, data modelling and dashboards.
• Strong SQL development skills including queries, procedures, views, and functions.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data governance.
• Experience in data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting across production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Microsoft BI technologies.
• Develop and support Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualisations.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer & Power BI Developer with strong expertise in data analysis, SQL development, reporting, and business understanding. The ideal candidate should possess a strong analytical mindset, be capable of working closely with business stakeholders, and demonstrate enthusiasm for learning new technologies and taking ownership of challenging assignments.

The role involves designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise BI solutions using Microsoft BI technologies and Power BI while ensuring data quality, performance, and business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Microsoft BI technologies.
• Develop and support Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualisations.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write, optimise, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and ETL processes.
• Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with business users to understand data requirements and reporting needs.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance standards are followed.
