Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ELT pipelines using PySpark and Databricks Workflows.
• Develop and optimize data lakehouse architecture for performance and cost.
• Create clean, reusable Python code for data processing tasks.
• Orchestrate workflows using Azure Data Factory and other cloud services.
• Collaborate with analysts to deliver trusted datasets for BI/ML.
• Monitor pipelines and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Apply CI/CD practices and maintain code in Git repositories.

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team at NCR VOYIX Corporation. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support our advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You will work with various data sources and technologies to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement ELT pipelines usingPySparkandDatabricks Workflows.
• Implement Data lakehouse architecture and optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency.
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable Python code for data processing and automation tasks.
• Orchestrate complex workflows using Azure Data Factory and integrate with other Azure services.
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to model and deliver trusted datasets.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control (Git).

Required Skills

• 7+ years in data engineering; 2+ years withDatabricks.
• StrongPySpark— DataFrames, Spark SQL, window functions, UDFs.
• AdvancedSQL— complex joins, CTEs, aggregations, query optimization.
• Experience withDelta Lake— ACID transactions, time travel, schema evolution.
• Familiarity withUnity Catalog, data lineage, and access control.
• Cloudexperience:Azure(ADLSGen2, ADF) orAWS/GCP equivalent.
• ComfortablewithGit, notebooks‑as‑code, and automatedtesting.
• KnowledgeofFinance andSales domainwould be good to have.
