Job summary

NCR Voyix Corporation in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead QA activities across the product lifecycle, from requirements to deployment, ensuring high-quality software and hardware solutions.

You will design test plans, mentor junior engineers, drive automation, track defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams using Selenium, Playwright, JUnit, Pytest, and TestNG to improve quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with functional, performance, regression, and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software and hardware systems.
• Lead and mentor junior quality engineers, providing guidance on best practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to define quality criteria and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, working with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and code reviews to proactively identify potential quality risks.
• Monitor and analyze product performance in production environments, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process, introducing new tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company quality policies.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to testing processes, test results, and quality metrics.

• Experience in the retail technology sectors
