Job summary

EXL in India is seeking an experienced Data Engineer/Analytics Engineer to build and maintain modern data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and Fivetran. The role emphasizes cloud data platforms and leveraging AI coding assistants to boost productivity.

You will design robust data models, implement data quality checks, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Snowflake and data modeling.
• Hands-on SQL and dbt Cloud for analytics engineering.
• Experience with Fivetran or similar ELT tools.
• Experience with data pipeline development and analytics engineering.

• Configure and manage data ingestion using Fivetran.

• Use AI-powered coding assistants to automate development and documentation tasks.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to build and maintain modern data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and Fivetran. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and be comfortable leveraging AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor to improve engineering productivity.

Key Responsibilities
