Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions for our business. The role emphasizes AWS + Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt, with strong SQL, Python, and PySpark skills.

You will work remotely with occasional in-person team meetups in India, contributing to data integration, warehousing, and AI/ML data product initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12–17 years of data engineering/architecture experience.
• Expert‑level SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Hands‑on experience using AI development tools for engineering productivity.
• Experience with AWS and Snowflake in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions.
• Work with AWS and Snowflake, Airflow and dbt to develop pipelines and data warehousing.
• Implement data integration/CDC, pipelines, dimensional modelling (Kimball), and BI layer exposure to AI/ML data products.
• Develop with SQL, Python, and PySpark; collaborate across teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Experience: 12–17 years, data engineering/architecture
• Core stack: AWS and Snowflake (expert level), plus Airflow/dbt
• Scope: data integration/CDC, pipelines, warehousing, dimensional modelling (Kimball), semantic/BI layer, and exposure to AI/ML data products
• Languages: expert‑level SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Also looking for hands‑on experience using AI development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) for engineering productivity
• Location: Remote (Permanent WFH), with 2–3 in‑person team meetups in India per year
• Nice to have: financial services / debt‑settlement / consumer‑finance background, GenAI/RAG or LLMOps exposure, AWS/SnowPro certifications
