Job summary

Ttand Technology is seeking a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to help lead a growing India-based Data Engineering pod working closely with the UK Data team. You will build scalable data pipelines, enhance platform reliability, and implement CI/CD practices while supporting analytics and AI/ML initiatives.

• Strong SQL and Python skills.

• Good understanding of data modelling concepts (3NF, Kimball, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD and Git-based workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with cloud-based modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work extensively with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.

• Improve monitoring, alerting, reliability, and data quality processes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI teams, and stakeholders.
• Support data modelling and architecture initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to help build and lead a growing India-based Data Engineering pod working closely with the UK Data team. This role will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, improving platform reliability, implementing CI/CD best practices, and supporting modern analytics and AI/ML initiatives.

The candidate should be technically strong, comfortable working in a collaborative international environment, and capable of mentoring junior engineers within the India pod.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines
• Work extensively with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python
• Implement CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows
• Improve monitoring, alerting, reliability, and data quality processes
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI teams, and stakeholders
• Support data modelling and architecture initiatives
