About the Job:

NeoStats Analytics is seeking enthusiastic Data Engineering Interns to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates or students currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in building robust data pipelines, optimizing architectures, and supporting analytics and data science initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Assist in building, optimizing, and maintaining reliable data pipelines and architectures.
Work with structured and unstructured data to support business analytics and data science teams.
Help in creating and managing ETL/ELT processes to ensure seamless data flow.
Support in data ingestion, cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure data accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers and analysts to improve data quality and accessibility.
Document data workflows, pipeline processes, and system architecture for future reference.
Explore and implement best practices in data engineering and cloud-based solutions.
Perform basic troubleshooting of data pipeline issues and propose solutions.
Assist in integrating data from various sources into centralized repositories.
Learn and apply concepts of data warehousing and data modeling.
Stay updated with emerging trends in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with SQL and basic database concepts.
Exposure to Python/PySpark or Scala or any programming language used in data handling.
Understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong willingness to learn and contribute in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Basic knowledge of data architecture and data governance principles is a bonus.
Azure certification is a plus
