Job summary

Zorba Consulting in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform services. You will work with large datasets, implement modern data architecture, and support enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives.

Responsibilities include designing data pipelines with Fabric and Data Factory, managing data ingestion, and ensuring data quality, governance, and security across Azure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric as a primary skill.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure SQL Database / Synapse / SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2).
• Experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development.
• Strong SQL query writing and performance optimization.
• Experience with data modeling (Star Schema, Dimensional modeling).
• Familiarity with data orchestration and scheduling.
