Job summary

Ikrux in Pune, India is seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines on the Azure platform. The role focuses on Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and modern data lake architecture to enable data-driven decision making.

You will collaborate with data analysts and BI developers, implement data quality and governance, and contribute to solution architecture, performance tuning, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering with a strong focus on the Azure ecosystem.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory pipelines, data flows, triggers, and integration runtimes.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric, especially Lakehouse architecture, OneLake, and Fabric Pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with notebook development and Apache Spark.
• Strong SQL with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or other distributed compute platforms.
• Experience with Delta Lakes, Parquet files, and ADLS Gen2 data lake storage.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL best practices.
• Familiar with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git integration for data solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Data Governance tools like Purview.
• Understanding of security & access control in Azure.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsibilities
