Job summary

ISS STOXX is seeking a Data Distribution Engineer in Gurugram to design, implement, operate and optimize our global data distribution platform on a modern GCP-based stack.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead large-scale data pipelines, apply API-first practices and leverage generative AI to deliver incremental value while ensuring simplicity, reliability and observability of data services for our clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data distribution in the cloud.
• Experience leading large-scale, complex data pipelines.
• Experience using and leveraging generative AI approaches.
• API-first mindset and strong user-entitlement management.
• Experience with cloud development, GCP products, and agile delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• Expertise in Python, Golang, SQL, Apigee.

ISS Stoxx is seeking a Data Distribution Engineer to develop and deploy our financial data distribution platform for Gurugram location.

Overview

We are in the process of a fully re-architecting our distribution ecosystem to a modern componentized set of solutions using GCP technologies. In this IC role, you will collaborate with Principal Data Distribution Engineer and Software Product Management to refine designs and build, prove and migrate to the new stack.

You’ll be passionate about delivery of incremental value. You have experience leveraging Generative SDLC approaches to rapidly turn complex requirements and designs into capable solutions.

• Experience leading the development and deployment of large-scale, complex data pipelines.

• Implementation of decomposed batch preparation and real-time API pipelines.
• Experience of user-entitlement management.
• Experience of cloud development, the benefits and challenges.
• Experience of GCP products across database, serverless, containerization and API.
• Experience using agile to deliver incremental value.
• Experience working in a global or multinational team setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Focus on simplicity, automation and observability.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Expertise in Python, Golang, SQL, Apigee.

Desirable

• Experience building and integrating agentic RAG solutions into data pipelines.
• Experience with data cataloguing capabilities.
