Job summary

CitiusTech in Pune is seeking a senior Snowflake Architect – Data Architect to lead enterprise data modernization initiatives. You will define target-state data architectures and drive migration of legacy warehouses to scalable cloud-native platforms on Snowflake and Azure.

Lead design of secure, high-performance data models, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor teams to deliver scalable data solutions for healthcare clients.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc or equivalent.
• Strong expertise in data architecture and cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, Azure data services, and data migrations.
• Healthcare payer/claims domain knowledge is preferred.
• Security and governance practices within healthcare data.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-scale data warehouse and analytics platforms on Snowflake and Azure.
• Assess existing DW/EDW, Data Lakehouse, and ODS environments.
• Lead migration of legacy DW to cloud-based enterprise data platforms.
• Design scalable, secure, high-performance data models and integration frameworks.
• Define architecture standards, governance policies, and best practices.
• Mentor data engineers, architects, and analysts.

What is in it for you?

As a Snowflake Architect - Data Architect, you will be responsible for leading enterprise data modernization initiatives, defining target-state data architectures, and driving the transformation of legacy data warehouse ecosystems into scalable Cloud-native payer domain platforms on Snowflake and Azure.

Responsibilities: -

• Architect and design enterprise-scale data warehouse and analytics platforms on Snowflake and Azure.
• Assess existing Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, and Operational Data Store environments.
• Lead migration of legacy data warehouse solutions to modern Cloud-based enterprise data platforms.
• Design scalable, secure, high-performance data models and data integration frameworks.
• Define architecture standards, governance policies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and healthcare SMEs.
• Recommend modern Cloud data engineering solutions aligned to business requirements.
• Provide technical oversight for Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Matillion, and Snowflake implementations.
• Review and approve conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Evaluate non-functional requirements including scalability, storage, retrieval, availability, and performance.
• Mentor data engineers, architects, and analysts.
• Drive architecture reviews, technical governance, and solution sign-offs.
• Support DevOps, CI/CD, performance optimization, and Cloud-native data engineering practices.
• Participate in client discussions, solution workshops, and strategic roadmap planning

Educational Qualifications: -

• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
