Job summary

JMAN Group in Chennai is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise data strategies and modern data platforms. You will shape data governance, build scalable pipelines, and collaborate with analytics teams to enable AI initiatives.

The role requires strong expertise in Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, and PySpark/SQL, with leadership to mentor a team of data engineers and drive end-to-end data programs across on-site operations in Chennai.

Technicalspecifications

• Minimum10+ years of experience asa Data Architect,withprovenexpertise in developing and implementing data strategies and data architecture design.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data warehousing and lakehouse methodologies, including Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake and Databricks.
• Mandatory experience with: Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, PySpark.
• Thorough grasp of data governance and security principles, along with experience in data pipelinesandETL/ELTtools, includingADF/Synapse,dbt.
• Excellentcommunication,collaboration,andproblem-solvingskillsareessential.
• ProficiencyinPySparkorSQLlanguages, knowledgeof datapatterns, data modelling (both Dimensional and Data Vault), and product migration.
• Good tohave skillsincludedata visualization using PowerBI,Tableau

• Diagnosingexistingarchitectureanddata maturity,identifyinggaps,proposing solutions,and implementing dimensional modelling and business domain conversion/Data Vault design pattern.

RequiredSkillset:

• ETLorELT : Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks (Mandatory), AWSGlue/ADF/Synapse/Fivetran/dbt(Anyone- Mandatory).
• Data Warehousing : Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse or Azure Databricks - Mandatory; Snowflake, Azure SQL, Redshift – (Good to have).
• Cloud Experience : Azure (Mandatory), AWS (Secondary/Preferred)
