Job summary

GEP is seeking a senior Spend Analytics professional to lead a mid-sized client portfolio within the Data & Analytics team. You will coach a 10-member team, drive customer satisfaction, manage scope and deliverables, and ensure quality across projects.

The role focuses on gathering requirements, developing Spend Analysis programs, and delivering best-in-class reporting solutions for multiple clients. Strong analytics and innovation are essential.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in spend analytics or a related field (e.g., finance, operations).
• Strong analytics experience.
• Category knowledge to support quality delivery.
• Expertise in managing spend tools for large clients.
• Passion and innovation to solve customer problems and uncover new insights and value in Procurement Analytics.
• Excellent People Management Skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mid-sized portfolio of multiple clients.
• Coach and manage a team of 10 members.

• Drive tool KPI targets, including usage, accuracy, and other metrics.
• Identify scope creep and change requests.
• Obtain customer sign-off on all deliverables.
• Gather requirements and develop Spend Analysis programs and reporting solutions.
• Lead planning, tracking and monitoring, target management, status updates, meetings, and minutes/action items.
• Conduct periodic risk analysis and mitigation, manage escalations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Consult with customers to enable a best-in-class Spend Analysis program.
• Manage internal programs and improve processes to deliver Spend Analysis solutions efficiently.

We achieve this by extracting and analyzing data across procurement systems, applying advanced data processing technologies, and transforming complex data into intuitive, visually compelling insights.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Customer & Project Management: Manage a mid-sized portfolio of multiple clients.
• Team Management: Coach and manage a team of 10 members.
• Customer Satisfaction: Achieve high customer satisfaction across all projects (minimum 8 on a scale of 10).
• Quality: Ensure quality targets are consistently met.
• Tool KPI Management: Drive tool KPI targets, including usage, accuracy, and other relevant metrics.
• Scope Management: Identify scope creep and change requests.
• Deliverables: Obtain customer sign-off on all deliverables.
• Requirements Gathering & Solutioning: Gather requirements and develop best-in-class Spend Analysis programs and reporting solutions.
• Project Management: Lead planning, tracking and monitoring, target management, status updates, meeting moderation, and minutes/action-item tracking.
• Risk & Issue Management: Conduct periodic risk analysis and mitigation, manage escalations, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive action plans.
