Harpoon Technology And Consultancy Lucknow is seeking a hands-on Lead Tariff Analyst with expertise in Advanced Excel, pivot tables, SQL, Python and Shell scripts to drive tariff modeling.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of industry experience in tariff analysis or energy analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and macros for complex calculations.
• 1–2 years of team leadership experience.
• Experience in Python and shell scripting to automate workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to convert tariffs, rates and programs into working models.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Looking for a hands-on Lead Tariff Analyst with expertise in Advanced Excel, pivot table, SQL

queries and writing programs using Python and Shell scripts.

They must be detail-focused, and have excellent problem-solving skills, and quickly learn new tools & knowledge.

The role requires a knowledge of database concepts and provides an opportunity to drive positive energy consumption habits and catalyze a clean energy future. You must enjoy learning and building rapidly evolving products/platforms.

To be successful in this role, you should possess

• Overall Industry experience 6-8 years
• Bachelors Degree in analytical subject area. E.g., Engineering, Statistics or equivalent.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functions and macros, involving complex calculations and pivots
• At least 1-2 years of team leading experience (Guiding, Mentoring, Collaboration)
• Experience in python and shell scripts for automating workflows.
• Exceptional Analytical, problem solving & Logical skills.
• Understanding of relational database concepts and hands-on experience in SQL.
• Demonstrable aptitude for Innovation & Problem solving.
• Good communication skills & ability to work across Cross-functional teams.
• Understands complex utility tariffs, rates and programs and converts these into a model.
