Job summary

Confidential is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to transform raw datasets into actionable insights that drive business decisions across functions in a 100% remote setup in India. You will develop reports and dashboards using SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, automate reporting, and support forecasting and performance measurement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of experience and strong communication skills to translate data

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, BI, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
• Create accurate and insightful daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.
• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and anomalies.
• Define, track, and report KPIs and key business performance metrics.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Investigate data discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve data-quality issues.
• Translate business requirements into analytical questions and measurable solutions.
• Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify opportunities for business improvement.
• Support forecasting, trend analysis, and performance measurement initiatives.
• Automate repetitive reporting and data preparation processes wherever possible.
• Maintain dashboards, datasets, reports, and analytical documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and technical teams on data availability and reporting requirements.
• Present analytical findings and business insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support management with data-backed insights for strategic and operational decisions.
