Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Requirements Gathering and Implementation specialist in Pune to design, develop, and maintain dashboards in Power BI and build Power Apps to streamline workflows.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data models, ensure data quality, and support data integration across reporting solutions. Strong SQL/Excel skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
• Proficiency in Power BI and related BI tools (data modelling, DAX, Power Query, security).
• Proficiency in data modelling and front-end building.
• Ability to document and translate business requirements into insights.
• Experience with Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps, connectors, workflows).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in SQL and Excel.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Nice to have process mining tools experience (ARIS, Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, or PAFnow).
• Familiarity with Power Automate and Microsoft Dataverse.

REQUIREMENTS GATHERING AND IMPLEMENTATION

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Build and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps to streamline workflows and enhance data accessibility. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data models and visualizations. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting solutions. Support data integration and automation efforts using Power Platform tools. (Nice to have) Analyse business processes using process mining tools to uncover inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles. Proficiency in Power BI: and Other BI Applications data modelling, DAX, Power Query, RSL, roles and security and report development. Proficiency on Data modelling & front-end building Ability to work with business to document & translate business requirements into insights Project management skills Understanding of Data Quality principles & ability to discover & trigger Data Quality risks Experience with Power Apps: canvas and model-driven apps, connectors, and workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in SQL and Excel. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to have - Experience with process mining tools such as ARIS, Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, or PAFnow. Familiarity with Power Automate and Microsoft Dataverse.
