Job summary

Medinex Workforce is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst intern to work with recruitment data. You will write SQL queries, clean Excel data, and build live dashboards in Looker Studio for the recruitment and operations teams.

This remote internship is full-time for 1 to 3 months. Fresh graduates or final-year students from B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, MCA, MBA or any analytics-friendly stream are welcome, provided you have a laptop and reliable internet.

Qualifications

• Basic SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, filters).
• Good Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP and charts.
• Familiarity with Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau, even from practice projects.
• Careful habits and patience with messy data.
• A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries to extract candidate, client and placement data.
• Clean exported files in Excel and remove duplicates, blanks and wrong entries.
• Build live dashboards in Looker Studio for the recruitment and operations teams.
• Calculate weekly metrics such as submission rate, interview rate and joining rate.
• Compare this week with last week and explain what changed in simple words.
• Validate every report against the source data before it goes to managers.
• Keep a short record of how each report is built so teammates can repeat it.

About the internship

A staffing business generates answers to important questions every day, but only if someone reads the numbers properly. How many candidates did we submit this week? Which sourcing channel gives the most joiners? Which clients take longest to close a role? In this internship you will work on questions like these using real recruitment data, and you will learn how analysts move from a raw spreadsheet to a clear recommendation.

What you will do
