The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in education data, strong Excel/SQL skills, and proficiency in Power BI or Tableau to present findings to non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in data analysis.
• Experience in college/university data reporting is preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one BI tool (Power BI or Tableau).
• Familiarity with SIS/LMS terminology is a plus.

Role & responsibilities

Collect data from multiple sources (SIS, LMS, survey tools, internal databases)

Clean, validate, and structure data for accuracy and consistency

Analyze trends in enrollment, retention, academic performance, or operations

Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) for stakeholder reporting

Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations

Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to understand reporting needs

Ensure data integrity and compliance with institutional data policies

Preferred candidate profile

2- 4 years of experience in data analysis

Prior experience working with a college, university, or educational institution (strongly preferred)

Familiarity with educational systems/terminology (SIS, LMS, accreditation metrics, enrollment funnels, etc.)

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

Strong data cleaning and data wrangling skills

Ability to present data visually and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
