Job summary

Cradlepoint is seeking a Data Analyst to define, automate, and maintain key operational and statistical data, delivering insights and reports that support business decisions. You will translate business requirements into analytic solutions and coach a team of data analysts and engineers.

The role emphasizes data preparation, visualization using Tableau/Power BI, and strong SQL/Excel skills, with potential exposure to ML tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, CS or related disciplines.
• 6+ years of experience in analytics and development activity.
• Experience with data preparation and pre-processing.
• Strong Excel/Access plus VBA for reporting.
• SQL, SQL Server, SSIS knowledge and experience.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for visualization.
• Knowledge of Python and ML is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standard new measures and analysis to drive CSI and service improvements.
• Translate business requirements into analytics and insights.
• Identify new measures and improvements; upgrade existing analyses.

About this opportunity:

We are looking for a Data Analyst to define, create, automate, and maintain key operational and statistical data, including both standard and customized reporting requirements.

In this role, you will develop and improve processes that enhance task effectiveness and support the consolidation of in-scope customers. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of transforming data into meaningful business insights.

What you will do:

• Deliver standard new measure/analysis Drive Continuous Service and process Improvement (CSI).
• Translate business requirement in analytics.
• Identify new measures /improvement.
• Maintain/upgrade existing measures/analysis.
• Present large amounts of information in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret and spot patterns, trends and correlations.
• Perform analytics leadership.
• Be a coach for other Data Analysts. Lead and direct a team of data scientists and engineers.
• Develop processes and methodologies for envisioning analytics as a practice.

The skills you bring:

• Bachelors / master s degree in engineering. Degree in computer science or related disciplines.
• Relevant 6+ yrs of experience in analytics and development activity.
• Acumen for business flow understanding and expertise in data preparation and pre-processing.
• Telecommunication knowledge would be a plus.
• Excel/Access knowledge, including VBA programming (to manage / develop custom reports).
• Programming languages (e.g. C#, .NET, Java etc.) would be a plus.
• SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server, SSIS knowledge and experience.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI or any other visualization tool.
• PHP would be an advantage (to manage / develop portal).
• New wave programming for machine learning - like Python would be considered a plus.
• Agentic AI, Python, GCP (BQ) and Knowledge of Operations are the primary competence needed.
