Job summary

Aptia Group is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Specialist to govern our global D365 ecosystem, including F&O, Power Platform, and Azure integrations. You will partner with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and support teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions, manage governance, design reviews, and release processes.

Deep hands-on knowledge across X++, C#, SQL, and enterprise data platforms is valued, with a focus on integration and ALM/CI/CD to drive

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 F&O.
• Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture, extensions, security, data entities, and integration frameworks.
• Hands-on with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Experience with Azure services and REST/OData integrations.
• Proficiency in X++, C#, and SQL for reviewing technical solutions.
• Experience leading integrations, code reviews and release/deployment governance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, ALM and Agile delivery.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Specialist to support and govern our global Dynamics 365 ecosystem, including Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Power Platform, Azure integrations, and third-party ISV solutions.

Reporting to the D365 Product Owner, you will act as the key technical liaison between business stakeholders, implementation partners, and support teams, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. This role combines technical governance, solution design review, integration oversight, release management, and Power Platform development to drive business value and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate D365 technical designs, customizations, integrations, and extensions.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure alignment with Microsoft best practices and enterprise standards.
• Support solution architecture discussions and integration design using Azure services.
• Review partner-developed code and manage release, deployment, and environment governance processes.
• Design and develop business solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Assess, implement, and govern third-party ISV solutions within the D365 ecosystem.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous platform improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to governance, security, and compliance standards.

Key Requirements

• 7+ years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Strong understanding of D365 F&O Architecture, Extensions, Security Model, Data Entities, and Integration Frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Factory, REST APIs, and OData Services.
• Working knowledge of X++, C#, and SQL for reviewing and validating technical solutions.
• Experience managing integrations, customizations, code reviews, and release/deployment processes.
• Exposure to CI/CD, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with implementation partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure certifications.
• Experience with ISV solutions and third-party D365 extensions.
• Exposure to Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and enterprise reporting solutions.
