Job summary

LG Electronics in Bengaluru seeks a Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen automotive cybersecurity in the VS Quality team. You will apply ISO21434 principles, assess security controls, and contribute to secure architectures for vehicle systems.

The role involves hands-on work with CAN, Ethernet, and Diagnostics, plus source code analysis in C and collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage security risks and compliance.

Qualifications

• Automotive cybersecurity domain expertise with ISO21434.
• Experience with security features: Secure boot, Firewall, TLS, PKI.
• Knowledge of automotive protocols: CAN, Ethernet, Diagnostics.
• Experience in requirements management, security management, threat analysis (TARA), STRIDE, security architecture.
• Source code analysis experience with debugging in C.
• Nice to have CSMS, CIA, Plan process knowledge.
• Nice to have UNECE R155/R156 experience.
• Nice to have knowledge of RED article 3.3d certification.
• Nice to have knowledge of Cyber Security CG test suites.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate security architectures for automotive systems.

Summary (JD)

• Very good knowledge on Automotive Cyber security Domain with hands on expertise in ISO21434
• Very good knowledge on Security features ( Secure boot, Firewall ,TLS,PKI etc)
• Good knowledge on automotive protocols like CAN, Ethernet, Diagnostics
• Hand on experience on Requirement management, Security management, TARA, STRIDE, Security Architecture
• Source code analysis experience with Debugging on C
• Good to have CSMS, CIA, Plan (Cyber security management) process knowledge
• Good to have ASPICE CS (Cyber Security) MAN7, SEC1, SEC2 knowledge
• Good to have UNECE R155/R156 experience
• Good to have knowledge/experience on RED article 3.3d certification
• Good to have knowledge of Cyber Security CG (Test suites)
