Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an Electrical/Electronics Engineer in Bengaluru to design and develop automotive products focusing on Active Safety and User-Experience. You will drive cybersecurity features, manage roadmaps, and coordinate with global teams to ensure secure, reliable deliveries.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of embedded software product ownership or technical program experience, with strong knowledge of ISO 21434, Automotive SPICE, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of engineering experience in embedded software product ownership or technical program management.
• Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 work products, secure ECU features, Agile practices and Automotive SPICE.
• Ability to write testable requirements and make data-based priority decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Convert cybersecurity needs into prioritized features, enablers and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain roadmap and backlog for security features and technical debt.
• Align scope, dependencies and release objectives with customer, project, platform, software and validation stakeholders.
• Accept completed work based on objective evidence and traceability.
• Track risks, capacity, maturity and delivery KPIs; Escalate gaps early.

We’re hiring an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design and develop our automotive products in the areas of Active Safety and User-Experience. This position is located in TCI.

Position Summary:

Define value proposition, scope, epics and cybersecurity acceptance boundaries. Build release roadmap, backlog, dependencies and Definition of Done. Prioritize stories, clarify acceptance criteria and remove delivery blockers. Accept features using verification evidence; manage residual risks and release scope. Prioritize vulnerability fixes, field updates and platform improvements.

Your Role:

Your Background:

Exp Level - 8 to 12 yrs only. B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline Embedded software product ownership or technical program experience. Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 work products, secure ECU features, Agile practices and Automotive SPICE. Ability to write testable requirements and make data-based priority decisions. Strong stakeholder management across global teams.

Preferred competencies

SAFe/Scrum certification, cybersecurity certification, Jira/ALM analytics and supplier-management experience.
