Job summary

Orange Business is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Application Developer to drive risks management tools development and maintenance. You will design, build, and integrate ServiceNow applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the globe.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, strong JavaScript and MySQL skills, and a proactive approach to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow application development, JavaScript, MySQL.
• ServiceNow certifications (Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator).
• Experience developing custom applications, workflows, and platform capabilities in ServiceNow.
• Strong experience building integrations between ServiceNow and external systems/applications.
• Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, configuration, and scripting.
• Experience with ServiceNow development best practices.
• Experience with GRC/IRM modules is a plus.
• Good understanding of software delivery processes.
• Good knowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles.
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary engineer for ServiceNow applications development.
• Design, develop, configure, and enhance applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop and maintain integration between ServiceNow and other applications/tools.
• Support users of ServiceNow application developed in the team.
• Contribute to the development of new capabilities across the current and future tooling ecosystem.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, development notes, and support materials.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and handover sessions.
• Support troubleshooting, bug fixing, and continuous improvement activities across the application landscape.
• Ensure development work follows good engineering practices, maintainability standards, and documentation expectations.
• Good experience in software delivery processes (development best practices, test, delivery, maintenance, documentation, ...)
• Capacity to organize and lead knowledge Transfer to the team / mentoring and to organize code review with the team.
• Strong collaborative team spirit and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills / fluent English

About the role

Senior ServiceNow Application Developer for risks management tools development and maintenance. Experience in building integrations with external applications is essential, and exposure to GRC/IRM within ServiceNow is a plus.

• Degree / Diploma holders with development and cybersecurity knowledge
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English language

Mandatory skill set

• Strong hands-on 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow application development, JavaScript, MySQL.
• ServiceNow certifications (Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator)
• Experience developing custom applications, workflows, and platform capabilities in ServiceNow
• Strong experience building integrations between ServiceNow and external systems/applications
• Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, configuration, and scripting
• Experience with ServiceNow development best practices

Secondary skill set

• ServiceNow certification “Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk and Compliance” would be a plus.
• Knowledge of development languages like Angular, Java, Python will be the added advantage
• Good to have knowledge of cybersecurity basics
• Good to have certification on IT and information security domain like ITIL, ISO 27001, GRC etc.
