HCLTech is seeking a Technical Trainer specialized in Cyber Security for Noida. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in technical training and certification in relevant topics. Design ILT/vILT and labs, develop materials, and guide participants through cyber project scenarios, threats, and mitigation techniques while staying updated on latest trends.

Qualifications

• 5-10 Years of experience in Technical Training.
• Certification in one or more of the listed cybersecurity topics is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• SME in delivering various domains of Cybersecurity.
• Design and conduct instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), and hands-on workshops.
• Develop course materials, presentations, lab exercises, and case studies for different audience levels.
• Deliver cybersecurity concepts for students, freshers and enterprise clients with enterprise use cases.
• Provide practical demonstrations using industry-standard tools and platforms.
• Create practical cybersecurity exercises and scenarios using infra platforms and cybersecurity environments.
• Guide participants on cyber project scenarios, best security practices, real-world threat scenarios and mitigation techniques.
• Design quizzes, assignments, and capstone projects to assess knowledge retention.
• Conduct cybersecurity awareness sessions for enterprise clients focusing on best practices, policies and frameworks.
• Work with security teams on custom training solutions, security assessments and implementations.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

We seek a proficient Security Trainer specializing in Cybersecurity domains such as Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, Network Security, Application and Data Security, VAPT, ML/AI for Cyber, Incident Response, Threat Intel and Hunting, Cyber Forensics, Information security governance, Dark web, GRC and Cyber Law Standards. The selected trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering structured educational programs for students, recent graduates, and corporate clients, ensuring the effective transfer of industry-relevant knowledge through hands-on practice and the practical application of cybersecurity principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Should be a Subject Matter Expert in delivering the various domains of Cybersecurity
• Design and conduct instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), and hands‑on workshops.
• Develop course materials, presentations, lab exercises, and case studies tailored for different audience levels (entry-level, intermediate, and advanced).
• Deliver cybersecurity concepts in an easy-to-understand manner for students and freshers while incorporating advanced use cases for enterprise clients.
• Provide practical demonstrations using industry-standard tools and platforms.
• Create practical cybersecurity exercises and scenarios using infra platforms and cybersecurity environments.
• Guide participants on cyber project scenarios, best security practices, real‑world threat scenarios, and mitigation techniques.
• Design quizzes, assignments, and capstone projects to assess knowledge retention.
• Conduct cybersecurity awareness sessions for enterprise clients focusing on Cybersecurity best practices, policies and frameworks.
• Work with security teams on custom training solutions, security assessments, and implementations.
• Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to align training with real‑world enterprise security challenges.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

5-10 Years of experience in Technical Training.

This role requires the following Skills:

• Information Security (Governance), Vulnerability Management, Penetration testing, Ethical Hacking, Network Security, Host Security, Web / Mobile Application Security, Cloud Security, Data Security & its privacy, Cyber Incident Response, Threat intelligence, Risk Management, GRC, Security Operations, Cyber Forensics and Cyber Law

Note: Certification in one or more of the above topics is mandatory.

The following Qualifications would be an advantage for this role

• Advanced SOC Management – Investigation & Analysis and Security Intelligence Analyst – SIEM Scenarios
• Firewall Deployment, Implementation and Configuration (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, FortiGATE)
• ML Applications in Cyber Security, Python Programming, Information and Data protection, Descriptive / Predictive Analytics in Cyber Security and Human Security – UEBA
