Job summary

Hiresquad is seeking a senior Cyber Security Consultant (Contract/Advisory) based in Noida (NCR) with hybrid engagement. The role involves challenging current controls, designing a pragmatic Zero Trust architecture, and helping establish a robust security programme.

You will work hands-on while engaging senior leadership to drive strategic improvements. The ideal candidate has 12+ years in information security, 5+ years advising product/SaaS environments, and strong Microsoft security expertise,

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Information Security experience.
• 5+ years advising/leading security for Product, SaaS, or data-intensive organisations.
• Deep hands-on expertise in the Microsoft Security ecosystem: Microsoft Entra ID – Conditional Access, MFA, PIM Microsoft Intune Defender for Endpoint / XDR Azure Security.
• Strong Azure DevOps / DevSecOps expertise – pipeline security, branch policies, secrets management, SAST/SCA.
• Proven Zero Trust Architecture experience.
• Insider Risk & Data Exfiltration control design.
• ISO 27001:2022 implementation experience.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior leadership while remaining technically hands-on.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SC-100, SC-200, or OSCP are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Pressure-test the current security state and validate the strategic direction.
• Design a pragmatic Zero Trust security architecture and establish an institutional-grade security programme.

Location: Noida (NCR) Hybrid Engagement: Contract / Consulting

We are seeking a senior, hands‑on Cybersecurity Consultant for a strategic engagement with our client.

This is not a routine audit or BAU security role. The consultant will assess the current environment, challenge existing controls, design a pragmatic Zero Trust security architecture, and help establish an institutional‑grade security programme.

Client has recently completed a management‑led internal security review and is executing an active remediation program. To build on this foundation, Client requires an independent senior practitioner to pressure‑test the current state, validate and strengthen the strategic direction, and deliver a robust security architecture, process framework, and operating rhythm.

This is a hands‑on advisory role reporting directly to senior leadership (CEO-1). It is not a checkbox audit and not a tool‑selling exercise. Specific findings and internal materials will be shared following NDA execution.

What Were Looking For
