Job summary

Assent Inc is looking for a Customer (Supplier) Support Associate to communicate with suppliers, assist with requests, and ensure compliance quality. This full-time role requires excellent communication skills, with proficiency in additional languages being preferred. Ideally, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Customer (Supplier) Support Associate - German

• Full-time
• Region: India

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers through multiple channels (emails, chats, conference calls) to gather compliance information, assist with requests, and confirm the quality of documents provided.
• Work directly with top‑tier suppliers to be a valuable resource and help them respond to compliance requests.
• Handle supplier emails and chats to troubleshoot, navigate requests, and provide a positive experience.
• Engage with unresponsive suppliers using a multi‑channel approach, supplier education, and webinar invitations.
• Provide language support for internal translations, webinar hosting, and participation in prospect calls with the Sales team.
• Collaborate with the Program Success team to strategize the best approach for new customers, client campaigns, and supplier issues.
• Validate and ensure quality assurance for compliance data provided by suppliers.
• Act as a peer mentor to Supplier Support Agents as required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language proficiency (Italian, French, German) may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma from a recognized institution.
• 1–2 years of related work experience (e.g., administration, reporting, research & data, supplier/customer support, call centres).
• Solid ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple priorities.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google Applications, able to leverage all functions proactively.
• Self‑starter with strong time‑management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Solutions‑first attitude, self‑motivated to engage proactively with suppliers across multiple channels.
• Building productive and stable working relationships internally and externally to support supplier needs.
