Job summary

Accenture India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Custom Software Engineer to design, configure, and enhance SAP SD processes with a focus on Order to Cash. You will leverage AI-enabled tools to speed requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and documentation, while ensuring seamless integration with MM, FI and other modules.

The role requires strong SAP SD knowledge, hands-on experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, and the ability to work across teams to deliver efficient O2C

Qualifications

• Strong SAP SD expertise with focus on Order to Cash (O2C) processes including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures.
• Hands-on experience using AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis tools.
• Familiarity with SAP SD integrations with FI, MM and cross-module workflows and master data handling.

Must have skills : SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary AI Powered Tech Talent You will design, configure, and enhance SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) processes while leveraging AI assisted development tools and copilots to speed up requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. This role focuses on delivering efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions, integrating pre built AI services where beneficial, and improving productivity through AI enabled assistance rather than deep AI model development, RAG, or agentic AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and optimize SAP SD components including:

• Order Management
• Pricing, Conditions & Discounts
• Delivery & Shipment Processing
• Billing & Invoicing
• Credit Management
• Returns & Refunds

Use AI copilots to draft functional specs, validate pricing logic, automate test case generation, and accelerate documentation creation. Support end to end implementation cycles including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and post go live support. Integrate SD with MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems via standard APIs and middleware.

AI Assisted Productivity

Use AI enabled tools to accelerate:

• Process analysis and interpretation
• Pricing issue diagnostics
• Impact analysis for change requests
• Test planning and execution
• Documentation automation (FS, TS, KT docs)

Incorporate pre built AI features into SD workflows—for example:

• Automated exception detection in billing or pricing
• Intelligent order classification or prioritization
• Smart summarization of order/delivery issues

Use LLM assisted troubleshooting during incidents, reducing resolution time.

Governance, Quality & Collaboration

Ensure solutions adhere to organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, pricing governance, and compliance requirements. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, and optimization discussions using AI supported insights. Partner with logistics, finance, supply chain, master data, and technical teams to deliver end to end O2C alignment. Contribute reusable templates, test packs, and best practices enhanced by AI assisted accelerators.

Required Skills & Experience

SAP SD Expertise Strong understanding of O2C processes including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations and cross module dependencies. Knowledge of master data (customer, material, pricing, credit), IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps. AI Ready Skills Hands on experience using AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI assisted testing/analysis tools. Ability to integrate pre built AI capabilities (not developing custom LLMs or agentic systems) into SD process flows. Understanding of responsible AI usage and limitations, especially in commercial workflows.

General Skills Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities in O2C scenarios. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations. Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross functional stakeholders. Continuous learning mindset and comfort using AI augmented productivity tools.

Good to Have

• SAP SD Certification (S/4HANA Sales).
• Experience with SAP Fiori apps (Sales Order, Billing, Pricing).
• Exposure to EDI/IDoc integrations, middleware (CPI/Boomi), or CRM systems.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools.
