Job summary

Papa John's is seeking a Custodial Maintenance Team Member to maintain basic housekeeping for the Quality Control Center, located in Acworth, GA. The role requires early morning shifts Tuesday through Saturday and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.

The ideal candidate will read and understand English policy and safely operate cleaning equipment. High school diploma or custodial experience is preferred, with comprehensive benefits and potential career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must read/write English.
• Must understand safety data sheets and chemical handling.
• Experience with custodial tasks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways and entryways.
• Clean all areas of the plant as assigned by supervisor.
• Operate floor maintenance equipment to clean carpets and floors.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness around facility.
• Monitor and document quality checks as required.

Summary

The Custodial Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining basic housekeeping for the Quality Control Center. This position is located in Acworth, GA. Hiring team member for Tuesday-Saturday mornings with a 5AM start time.

Desired Functional Skills

• Ability to read, write and understand written and/or verbal policy, instruction and direction in English required.


• Must be able to read and understand the safe use of cleaning chemicals and/or painting materials.


• Must be able to safely operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubber, scissor lift, polisher and other equipment.

Desired Education, Experience And Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Housekeeping, custodial, sanitation experience preferred.

Additional Information

• Must have flexibility to work all shifts as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways and entryway.


• Clean all areas of the plant as assigned by supervisor.


• Perform minor facility maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.


• Operate floor maintenance equipment to clean carpets and other flooring.


• Perform rodent trap maintenance by checking dates and documenting regular checks.


• Remove trash from all areas as scheduled and perform any basic maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor


• Perform sewer trap sanitation throughout the facility to ensure they meet PJFS quality standards.


• Ensure perimeter of facility is clean and all debris is removed.


• Monitor and maintain accurate and complete departmental records of all quality checks.


• Other duties may be assigned.
