Job summary

Beginners World Learning in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Curriculum Architect to design annual to daily lesson plans, develop playgroup to UKG modules, and align with NEP 2020 and global best practices. You will create theme-based curricula and teacher manuals.

You will also lead content development, teacher training, quality assurance, and assessment system design, while researching new teaching methods and documenting curriculum updates across centres.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or Psychology (ECE experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of curriculum design and instructional planning.
  • Experience with NEP 2020, ECCE guidelines, and international best practices (Montessori, EYFS, Reggio Emilia, Play-Based Learning).

Responsibilities

  • Design annual, monthly, weekly, and daily curriculum plans.
  • Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, activity planners, and teacher manuals.
  • Create theme-based learning modules for Playgroup, Nursery, LKG, and UKG.
  • Ensure curriculum aligns with NEP 2020, ECCE guidelines, and international best practices (Montessori, EYFS, Reggio Emilia, Play-Based Learning).
  • Create worksheets, flashcards, storybooks, activity sheets, assessment tools, and learning resources.
  • Develop phonics, literacy, numeracy, science, art, music, and life skills content.
  • Prepare digital learning materials, presentations, and parent engagement resources.
  • Conduct induction and periodic training sessions for teachers.
  • Train teachers on curriculum implementation, classroom management, and activity execution.
  • Develop training manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Observe classrooms and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Monitor curriculum implementation across centres.
  • Conduct curriculum audits and classroom observations.
  • Review feedback from teachers, parents, and centre heads.
  • Update curriculum based on educational research and classroom outcomes.
  • Design child assessment tools and developmental milestone trackers.
  • Develop progress report formats and portfolio assessment systems.
  • Maintain curriculum documentation and version control.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in Early Childhood Education.
  • Introduce innovative teaching methodologies and educational technology.
  • Research global preschool practices and adapt them to the organization2s needs.
