One of our clients, a leading private investment firm with a diversified portfolio of businesses, is looking to hire a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive technology transformation and value creation across portfolio companies.

This is a highly hands‑on, portfolio‑facing role requiring close interaction with founders, CEOs, CIOs, and investment teams to identify technology gaps and drive execution across ERP, MIS, cloud, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Drive technology transformation across portfolio companies, with a strong focus on ERP/SAP, MIS, cloud, CRM, infrastructure, and enterprise systems.

Work closely with founders and senior management teams to identify gaps, define practical roadmaps, and ensure successful implementation.

Review technology architecture, vendors, implementation partners, project plans, and ongoing transformation programs.

Improve MIS, reporting, controls, and technology‑led operational efficiency across portfolio businesses.

Support technology due diligence for potential investments and identify post‑investment value creation opportunities.

Advise on cybersecurity, information security, data governance, and technology risk.

Work across sectors including consumer, industrials, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.

Travel extensively across India, with approximately three days per week on the road.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in technology transformation, consulting, enterprise technology, or digital transformation.

Preference for candidates from consulting or technology transformation backgrounds.

Strong hands‑on experience in SAP / ERP implementation, MIS, cloud, CRM, and enterprise systems.

Experience across pharma, consumer, industrials, or manufacturing sectors preferred.

Strong program management, stakeholder management, presentation, and influencing skills.

Comfortable working directly with founders and senior leadership teams.

Entrepreneurial, execution-oriented, and willing to operate as an Individual Contributor.

Ability to move seamlessly between strategic discussions and detailed implementation‑level problem solving.
