Job summary

Credit Saison India in Mumbai seeks a seasoned credit professional to assess loans within our risk framework. You will perform credit appraisal, evaluate applications, and work with authorities to obtain approvals while upholding policy guidelines.

You'll coordinate with customers and co-lending partners to monitor delinquencies, support data-driven policy calibration with analytics, and help maintain a healthy, diversified loan portfolio.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in credit with good communication and digital orientation.
• Graduation / post-graduation in any field.
• Experience handling secured products (Small Ticket LAP) will be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment duties within the defined risk philosophy of the company.
• Credit appraisal of loan applications within policy guidelines and decide or recommend for approval.
• Ensure due diligence in credit analysis, screening, evaluation, underwriting and sanctioning.
• Interact with customers and co-lending partners to monitor delinquencies and early warnings.
• Collaborate with Business, Tech, Product and Operations to offer innovative products.
• Work with analytics teams to calibrate credit policies in real time.
• Deliver a quality portfolio within defined TAT and support collections when required.
• Promote teamwork within the unit and ownership of the product portfolio.

Job Description

• Performing assessment duties within the defined risk philosophy of the company
• Credit appraisal of loan applications within the defined policy guidelines and accordingly take decision or recommend for approval to higher authorities
• Ensuring due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting and sanctioning of loans
• Interact with customers and co-lending partners to regularly monitor delinquencies and early warning triggers
• Work closely and collaborate with the teams of Business development, Tech, Product and Operations & support on offering innovative products
• Working in sync with the data analytics team to proactively contribute towards real time calibration of credit policies
• Delivering quality portfolio along within defined TAT and extending support for collection activities whenever required
• Promoting the culture of team work within the team
• Monitoring and ownership of a complete product portfolio amongst different products/partnerships we may work with

Monthly analysis of parameters like

• customer base, industry/ segment profile , loan average ticket size and tenure; if are within the decided norms
• Keep a close eye on market and economic developments relevant for our business and share the learnings within the team
• Active participation in special projects that may be assigned from time to
